As you may have noticed, I have been pretty absent from blogging for almost an entire month (Did you miss me?).
No, you probably didn’t.
Life Updates, Part 1
Anyway, so what happened in June? Why was I gone so long? Well, first and foremost I celebrated my 21st birthday in a drunken haze by driving to Vegas and seeing The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil show, which was fantastic and had me nearly crying during the entire thing (and this was pre-alcohol). Afterwards, I flashed my ID everywhere I could, got some drinks, and gambled away more money than I care to remember.
I also want to give a special shoutout to everyone who was kind enough to send me a birthday present, I really appreciated all your kind words and gifts!
Life Updates, Part 2
Additionally, I started up an internship at a California District Attorney’s office that, unfortunately, I can’t talk much about because of confidentiality terms and conditions, but it’s been a ton of fun so far and confirmed my questions about whether or not I wanted to become a lawyer some day (that answer being: yes!). It’s also been exhausting and takes up most of my time so that’s why there’s been a significant decrease in social media/blog interaction as of late. Sorry!

I’m hosting a co-hosting a bookstagram challenge with Cait from A Page with a View that is well underway and I love seeing all the cool pictures that everyone is posting! If you want to join in, I’ve posted the challenge calendar below:

I’m also hosting a giveaway for an entire set of Harry Potter books! You can enter by following and retweeting the picture on Twitter (Link here!) and you can get a bonus entry if you follow me on Instagram! (Link here!)
What else?
Finally, expect a few reviews this month and some potential discussion posts regarding ACOTAR and ACOMAF (since, as most of you know, that’s what I’m writing my senior thesis on!). I’ve missed you all bunches! What awesome things have been going on in your lives recently? Let me know in the comments below!
What a great contest! Happy belated birthday!
The Bookstagram challenge looks like a fun way to get into the habit of posting my bookish stuff there. I mostly use Instagram to stalk my kids. 🙂 Only wish it was another month!
