So, is winter coming yet, or nah? Because I’m ready for some snow.
Thesis Update
Not much else to update you on from last month, other than the fact that I’ve reached my halfway point! That’s right, I’m halfway done with my thesis! As soon as school gets out in a couple weeks I’ll try to finish the last half during my six blissful weeks of winter break. No distractions, just me and the page. Also, I’m using my thesis for NanoWriMo so if you want you can add me as a buddy to see my progress (bear with me though. This is my first time using anything NaNo related, so I’m still learning how to add people)! While the thesis won’t be 50k words, I’ll just be writing up to the point of 40 pages (which should be about 15k I think).
What I Read in October
I actually got to more books this month than I originally thought I would so here we go:
Broken Prince by Erin Watt: 3/5 stars (The first one was just…better)
Bread and Butter #1 by Liz Mayorga: 3/5 stars
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley: 4/5 stars (Required reading, but also I’m now obsessed with Frankenstein memes, so if you have any, send them my way)
The Assassin’s Blade (Throne of Glass 0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas: 5/5 stars (SAM. WHYYYY)
Life by Keith Richards: 5/5 stars (obviously. OBVIOUSLY.)
Unblemished by Sara Ella: 3/5 stars (My first review on United by Pop!’s website!)
Cinder by Marissa Meyer: 5/5 stars (Review)
The White Album: Essays by Joan Didion: 4/5 stars (Required reading, but so, SO, good)
No Holding Back by Kate Evangelista: 4/5 stars (Review)
No Love Allowed by Kate Evangelista: 4/5 stars (Review)
November TBR
With finals coming up and winter break around the corner, I’m challenging myself to read all of these…it’s just a BIT ambitious:
What are you reading this month? Drop me a comment!
You are being ambitious! I had a similar number of books on my list back in August/September…and then school started. :/ Good luck and happy reads!
